About the start of Sailor Moon R. Ranma timeline is a little after he learns the Möko Takabisha. I'm also using the Ranma one-shot, "Pick One" by Brian Randall(With his permission of course). *__*-Foreign Language. ========================= Previously... Ranma was granted a pass along with one more to leave the Earth, but he tricked all his fiancees to go in his place. He took on a possessed man and was almost killed if not for Ryouga's save. The senshi fight an invader and succeed. But another invader came and killed Tuxedo Kamen. It then proceeds to destroy the senshi until Pantyhose Tarou challenges it to a fight. ========================= Wishbringer presents... In darkest night... Chapter 1 ======================== 'What is he thinking?' That was the shared thought of Sailor Mars and Venus as Tarou dodged the creatures advances. They were able to see it better than when it was on the roof. A wolf man with silver fur and crimson eyes and mouth twisted into a fierce snarl. Glaring at Tarou, it rushed him again. Slashing wildly, Tarou acted quickly. Bringing his left forearm up, he blocked a blow from the being. Turning around, he launched his fist in a blazing fury. The monster bobbed and weaved at most, but one caught him across his jaw and sent him flying. "W-w-what the hell was that?" Asked a stunned Rei. "That was a punch." Replied Tarou. "I'd get your friends outta here if I were you." Tarou turned his attention back to the invader. During the conversation, it had been running towards it's new nemesis. It attempted to take off Tarou's head, but the cursed one ducked it's attack and countered with a leg lock that made the being kiss the ground face first. The creature got up and attempted another death blow. It was surprised as the blow missed completely, thus Tarou took advantage of his surprise by landing a kick into the creature's abdomen, Tarou then went into a fury of punches and kicks that were inanely faster than Ranma’s own. Faster and harder he went until he landed a double axe handle into the invader's back. Tarou then gathered ki into his hands with palms extended. "Dynamite Touchdown!" The ki slammed into the back of the wolf man and it howled in pain. Staggering away before turning around and letting loose a blood curling growl. "SUPREME...THUNDER!" The thunder attack crashed into the invader and it let out a howl of pain. Tarou turned to face Sailor Jupiter. "I thought I told you to get out of here." Tarou stated. Jupiter didn't respond. Outwardly, her appearance was cold. Inside, she was still Makoto. 'What a hunk! He looks like my old sempai!' Shaking her head to get to business, she glared at Tarou. "Are you kidding? That thing's mine!" Tarou shook his head. "Suit yourself. Here he comes!" "Shine Aqua...Illusion!!" The water attack hit the beast upside it's head. It apparently had enough of this assault as it picked up a decent sized boulder and threw it at the group. Tarou picked up Mercury and leaped into the air and out of it's way as did Jupiter. Mars and Venus jumped away from it, but Venus's head hit the ground hard and knocked her out. As Mars corrected herself, the creature charged and leveled a hard blow to her gut. She doubled over as the monster kicked her into a building, knocking her out as well. Jupiter landed on the rooftop as did Tarou. He let the blushing Mercury unto her feet and looked down at the beast. "Well, this sucks." "I thought you could handle that thing, Mr. Hero." Jupiter said. Letting the last comment come out sarcastically. "Just leave this one to me, big boy." With that, she leap down back to the battle zone. Tarou shook his head and smirked. "Nankai yatemo ishodaiyo(The outcome is always the same, even if you keep fighting)." And leapt down to join Jupiter. Mercury looked around as she came out of her daze. "Could someone get me down? Please?" =================== "Usa...ko.." "Mamo-chan...?" Apparently the Tux-boy hadn't passed on yet. Sailor Moon prepared to heal her lover but he placed a hand on her cheek, and stained her cheek with his blood. The magical item that held the crystal fell limply from her hands as she stared into his eyes. The life was leaving them rapidly "Don't worry about me...go on..." "But I can't leave you like this! I'll save you!" "J-just go! Get everyone out of here! You can't do anything about this!" "I won't leave you!" "I won't leave you either...I'll always be in your heart..." Tuxedo Kamen's body faded away. In it's place appeared a ghostly image of Endymion. He was standing now and holding Sailor Moon's hands in his own. Suddenly, the palace from the Silver Millennium appeared behind them, and between their hands, a large jeweled wand appeared in their combined hands. Endymion smiled down on Sailor Moon. "Remember, as long as I'm in your heart... I will always be with you. Kimi ga suki da yo.(I love you(Male))" said Endymion. "Anata ga suki da.(I love you (Female response))" replied Sailor Moon, tears in her eyes. Endymion’s smile grew as he faded away. As he faded, the palace faded away with him, bringing Sailor Moon back into the present. Her tears trickled down her face, but she knew what she had to do. ========================= "Supreme Thunder!" The monster dodged the magical bolt of lightning right into the path of Tarou's fist. The monster swiped again at Tarou, who dodged it. Jupiter leveled a roundhouse kick at the back of it's skull, then went to sweep it's legs out from it. It leapt and she had instead, taken Tarou down. Tarou back flipped the mistaken attack, and glared at Jupiter. "Baka onna! Can't you do anything right?" Jupiter glared at him. "I told you I could handle this!" The monster landed, and Jupiter leveled her glare at it. "Sparkling...Wide... Pressure!" Then what the monster did surprised the both of them. It's claws extended, and it caught the magical ball of lightning. While Jupiter stood in shock, the creature then threw the ball back at her. She was totally unprepared as her own attack hit her and shocked her entire body. She let loose a shriek before collapsing into unconsciousness. The invader nodded before turning to Tarou and attacked him with a second wind. Tarou was starting to falter as the beast's attacks grew stronger. He was really wishing he hadn't left that water girl on the roof. Unless he got some cold water, this thing was going to get him soon. "MOON...SPIRAL...HEART ATTACK!" Both Tarou and the invader turned to see a gigantic, disgustingly cute pink heart come straight at the monster. "LOVELY...!"The monster screamed before fading into nothingness. Tarou looked on with a big sweatdrop on the back of his head and said the only thing he could think of. "What a horrible way to die." ========================= In a dark alleyway, two figures were having an intimate conversation. "Well, that was an interesting twist." The figure who said that was a well built female standing about 5'4, with her red hair bone in a bun on both sides of her head, and apparently of Chinese decent. She had on a Chinese outfit similar to Mousse's robes, but with a feminine cut. The sleeves and her pants where colored black, while the rest was in white. Her forearms had gold wrist bracers with the kanji for heaven on them in black. *Those girls and that Chinese man made an interesting team.* *It was pure luck that their leader pulled that move like she did. They need to get their act together if they want to beat us.* The figure who said that was a man who stood at about 6'6, with a bald look and sporting a goatee, and apparently of African-American decent. He to had on an outfit similar to Mousse's, but was red and had wooden ties like one of Ranma's shirts. He had on blue silk pants and matching shoes. He had on black leather wrist bracers, and a smirk on his face. *That was one of my lower level minions, and it almost decimated them.* *Well, it did kill their cheerleader.* *Happy it did to. Always hated male pom-poms.* "And switch to the Earthlings tongue. We've got a while to be here." "Fine. Now, what's next, oh fearless leader?" "Patience, my dear. After all, world elimination is a delicate process." He turned to the building behind him and reached a hand out. It went through the wall as he stepped forward, with the woman following. They appeared in a room where there seemed to be nothing but sparks of energy. Looking to his right, the man smirked as he looked at the tube that held Sailor Pluto. "And with this conceptual pain in the ass in our clutches, Earth's inhabitants will be no more, Kentia." Kentia smiled. "Indeed, Lord Cyma." Cyma smiled as well. "I do hope those Sailor Senshi can get their act together. It's no fun to destroy this planet with no challenge." He paused for a moment before shaking his head sadly. "Such a pity. This was such a beautiful planet, once. I guess you don't know what you got until it's gone. ======================== The next day had come and gone without incident. However, for one person, the day seemed anything but normal. Sailor Moon, Princess Serenity, Tuskino Usagi's world was a cold dark place. Looking at her hands. The hands that held Mamoru's body as it turned into a lifeless husk. She felt alone and helpless for the first time in her life. Placing one of her hands on her cheek, she remembered his face as he smiled while he died. He would always be with her he said. And she wanted to believe him, but how could she? He wasn't here now. He would never be with her again. And that thought brought a wave of sadness as she sobbed onto her pillows as the reality of the days events set in again. ========================= Ranma opened his eyes at the unfamiliar ceiling. "Koko wa doko da?" Ranma held his head as he remembered yesterday's events. Basically, he almost died yesterday, and sent the three girls who loved him the most to the stars. Damn, that's almost depressing. At least he didn't have to chose anymore. Looking at his left arm expecting to see a cast, but finding none. Ranma nodded as he figured his ki healed him faster. Even he was surprised at the quickness of his recovery, but didn't want to push his good fortune. "Ryouga." He murmured. If he hadn't shown up when he had, it was safe to say that he would be dead. He owed bacon-breath his life. He smirked to himself. "Stay alive, P-chan. We've got unfinished business."Getting up out of the bed, he stretched and let out a yawn. He had to return to Nerima. Akane was safe, but what about her sisters? Although Nabiki could deal her way out of anything, it was less likely that she could talk her way out of this. Kasumi would need the protection, without doubt. Tendou-san may get himself together to protect his daughters, but no. He still needed to return. He owed it to Akane. Those sisters would see each other again. ==================== Ryouga trudged onward through the ruins of the Odaiba ward of Tokyo. He seemed to be in Japan a lot, now a days. Yesterday was one of the worst days in his young life. Akane was gone, and he had forced her to leave. But, if she had stayed, she could have died or been infected with the virus. And that thought alone scarred him. He might have had to kill her like that man that almost killed Ranma. Ranma. Ryouga smiled to himself, he had never expected that Ranma would do something like that. Now he owed Ranma for saving Akane once again. Ryouga hoped to see Akane once more. "Stay alive Ranma. I'm the only man who can kill you." ==================== Mouse sighed as he sat on the roof of the Nekohauten. He stared at the skies with a depressed air about him. He hadn't seen Shampoo since she stepped out to visit that accursed Saotome. His time was coming shortly, he knew. In these times, he was surprised that he had lived this long. But what could he do? *Mu Tsu...* *Elder Kul Lon?* Mouse turned to look at the Joketsuzoku matriarch. She wasn't on her cane, but was holding unto it like she would collapse without it. *Mu Tsu... there is not much time left. I am... dying.* *Dying? Now? But...* *Not now... there is something I must do first. I swore to your teacher, Chow Yun Tsung, that when the time came, I would finish your training. Since he passed on a few years ago." Digging through her robes, she pulled out a worn looking scroll. *Is this...? *Yes. The Zhuqia-fu . And if you want to live to see Xian Pu again, you will master this in five days.* With shaky hands, Mouse took the scroll. *But now?* *Especially now. I like you Mu Tsu. I would like to see you live through this.* With that, Cologne left the boy to think about this turn of events. Mouse opened the scroll, and his eyes bugged out of his skull. 'She... wants me to master this in five days?!?!' =============== End Ch. 1 Notes: This feels a little weak compared to the prologue, but I'm trying. I will try to put some humor into this series, but it will be mostly serious. I'd also like to thank everyone who read my story, Breaking in a wild stallion: Kasumi and sent such warm feed back.
